The Nature Park Centre's motto is "Protect and Benefit" and aims to raise people's awareness of this interaction. The exhibition is intended to provide a small impetus and familiarise visitors with the interrelationships in the landscape. The house itself was designed to be as environmentally friendly as possible: The building shell is built to the passive house standard, i.e. made entirely from Allgäu wood, insulated with wood fibre and cellulose, all building materials obtained from renewable raw materials, non-toxic, recyclable, environmentally friendly and healthy to live in.

Regional snacks, coffee and cake are available in the nature park café directly in the nature park centre foyer. 

At the tourist and nature park information centre in the Nagelfluhkette Nature Park Centre, experts provide tips on what to do in the region in bad weather, which hikes are particularly recommended and which nature park programmes are running.
