Lindau history comes to life in the "Haus zum Cavazzen":
A multimedia journey through the centuries begins on the attic floor. The Seutter von Loetzen family welcomes their guests, master builder Grubenmann invites you to play roof beam Mikado, the Lindau messenger rides through the Beletage, and the small imperial city shows its proud side, sailing ships are loaded, steamers set sail... 
Changing, impressive exhibits in the museum rooms tell the story as contemporary witnesses. But the Cavazzen is more than just a museum: the charming café "Il Cavazzo" invites you to linger in the inner courtyard, and concerts and parties are planned in the vaulted cellar of the baroque town palace.
